Success In progress is a short but difficult game about climbing, in which failure isn't really failure, but improvement. As you fall, you fill the world around you with tomato sauce, making it easier to climb up again, and preventing you from falling twice in the same place.

Controls:

Q and E to jump left or right

If you fall, you will turn into tomato sauce and respawn at the beginning

You can move in tomato sauce with A and D

If you fall on tomato sauce, you won't die

Download the desktop version for controller support

Hold LT or RT to jump left or right

Move with the joystick or arrow pad

Inspired by the poem "Se Mato un Tomate" by "Elsa Bornemann"

Inspired by Jump King and similar platformer games

This game was made in the span of 3 days for the "Mini Jame Gam 34", with the theme "Failure" and the special object "Tomato"

Some parts of the game are designed for you to bounce of off walls, have that in mind while playing and don't be afraid of experimenting!

The game includes a progress bar that tells you how far you are from the summit, a timer and an options menu where you can see the controls + change sound volume.

My fastest time completing the game was 1m26s, how fast can you complete the game? Post and brag about it on the comments

Fun game! The sound effects are hillarious. I don't have the patience to try to win, but it was entertaining. Especially liked the music and background art. I can see myself playing on the bus!

OMG

Nice!

Nice! I played an earlier version before the jam cut-off, and the updates you guys made to the level design are great - it plays so much better.

Thank you! We put a lot of love into it!
